President Obama was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.

Founder, Willie Dixon, established Blues Heaven Foundation not only to assist in documentation and promotion of the Blues, but to also support Blues artists and the business of music. A legendary songwriter himself, Willie Dixon has long been an advocate of education.
Willie Dixon’s musical and educational legacy began in 1970 with the world’s first Blues In The Schools clinic at Amos Alonzo Stagg School on Chicago’s south side. Since 1984, Blues Heaven has sponsored nationally prominent Blues artist participants to conduct remote site Blues Clinics, resulting in more than 16,000 instrument donations to elementary and secondary school children. The program is co-sponsored by Hohner, Inc.

U.S. Cellular Field Home of the Chicago White Sox
U.S. Cellular Field (formerly Comiskey Park) is a baseball ballpark in Chicago, Illinois. Owned by the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority, it is the home of the Chicago White Sox of the American League. The park opened for the 1991 season, after the White Sox had spent 81 years at old Comiskey Park. The new park, completed at a cost of $167 million, also opened with the Comiskey Park name, but became U.S. Cellular Field in 2003 after U.S. Cellular bought the naming rights.
